2026/27 WOMENS 1ST XI FIXTURES
We are delighted to announce our Womens 1st XI fixtures for the upcoming S&HWGL Open Age 1 Season.
Frickley Athletic Women’s First Team now know the schedule that awaits them for the 2026/27 Sheffield & Hallamshire Women’s & Girls League season, with the new campaign getting underway at home on Sunday 6 September.
The Ladies 1st XI will welcome Rotherham United Women U23s for the opening game of the season before remaining on home soil to face Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies on 20 September. The first away trip of the campaign follows a week later, with a visit to Dinnington Town J.F.C Ladies on 27 September.
October promises to be a busy month, beginning with a home fixture against Millmoor Junior Ladies First XI on 4 October. The Ladies 1st XI then face three consecutive games on the road, travelling to Barnsley FC Ladies First XI on 11 October, Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies on 18 October and Oughtibridge WM Women’s First XI on 25 October.
November brings a welcome run of home fixtures, with three consecutive games on home soil. Barnsley FC Ladies First XI are the visitors on 1 November before Handsworth Ladies Reserves arrive a week later on 8 November. The Ladies 1st XI then host Brodsworth Main FC First XI on 15 November before ending the month with the return fixture against Millmoor Junior Ladies First XI on 22 November.
There are just two scheduled league fixtures in December, both against Staveley Miners Welfare Ladies U23. The Ladies 1st XI make the trip to Staveley on 6 December before hosting the return fixture on 20 December in the final scheduled game ahead of the Christmas break.
The Ladies 1st XI begin 2027 with back-to-back home games. Oughtibridge WM Women’s First XI visit on 10 January before Barnsley Women Reserves make the trip to The Ladies 1st XI on 24 January.
February sees three more fixtures, beginning with the return meeting against Dinnington Town J.F.C Ladies at home on 14 February. The Ladies 1st XI then hit the road for consecutive away games, travelling to Brodsworth Main FC First XI on 21 February and Handsworth Ladies Reserves on 28 February.
Following a break in the scheduled league programme during March, The Ladies 1st XI final currently listed fixture of the campaign comes on 25 April, with an away trip to Barnsley Women Reserves bringing the 2026/27 league schedule to a close.
