In line with revised stadium accreditation requirements, Frickley Athletic were contacted by the FA and their consultants Marsh to take part in a survey relating to the pitch perimeter and materials used in the barrier at Westfield Lane. As a result of the survey and resulting report, the club has received details of the work required to maintain safety standards, this includes the concrete wall being replaced with approved fencing and the team dugouts also being replaced as they are part of the supporting barrier.
