Wade Ripley Extends Stay!! The former Bradford City Academy and Frickley Athletic U23’s attacking midfielder makes the permanent move into the First Team for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
Ripley featured in 19 fixtures for the First Team last season, scoring 2 goals, whilst also featuring in 13 league fixtures, scoring 9 goals, for the U23’s team.
Manager Pat McGuire commented: “When we took the job I had messages from numerous people in the game speaking very highly of Wade. He’s a player with serious talent and one that we are really excited to work with this season. He’s an intelligent player who has that X factor and can unlock a door with an eye for goal. Retaining Wade was high on the wish list and I’m delighted he’s agreed to stay on with us”
Ripley commented: “Can’t wait for the new season ahead, working with Pat and Blake to develop me as an individual and the team to become the best we can be next season to try secure play offs and get promoted!”
