A couple of weeks ago you good good people voted in droves for your Supporters Player Of The Year. We fired up the super-computer & collated the results – & the more eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that we announced the winner yesterday before the Bottesford game.
Here are the full results:
1st – Callum ‘The Cat’ Bradbury. Callum (pictured receiving his award from Ella & Josh Carr, our young Superfans) has had a stellar season & he’s obviously found a place in the hearts of our supporters. Well done Bradders – what a first season it’s been!
2nd – Richard Collier. Had to be the Colonel didn’t it. Like a vintage wine, he’s been getting better & better. Great player, great skipper but more importantly a great bloke. He’s announced his retirement but little does he know that we’re locking him in Terrys ‘Boot Room’ with a contract & he can come out when he’s signed it, Come on Colonel – one more go!!!!
3rd – Lloyd Smith. He scores goals!!! Had a bit of a quiet time prior to his brace yesterday but our fans know a good young striker when they see one & they like what they see with Lloydy
Also polling votes (in no particular order):
Morgan James, Jake Hemingway, Brandon Murillo, Josh Haigh, Zav Elkin, Big Al Keita, Keegan Townrow & interestingly Sarah Hearn (presumably for her hat-trick at Emley)
Thank you to everyone who voted – it’s important that our fans get the chance to make the important decisions – same next next year?
We will be announcing the Twitter Poll Player Of The Month for March / April & Twitter Poll Player Of The Season shortly after the rearranged Eccleshill game
