The Football Club are delighted to announce that the Frickley Athletic Supporters’ Club have donated a significant amount of money to help the club during these challenging times.
The club board wish to thank all the Supporters’ Club members for this quick action and decision.
The monies will be spent on some urgent (but planned & required) ground grading requirements as well as supporting the club’s cashflow during this time.
The club has lost tens of thousands of pounds of revenue due to Covid-19 and as a result the league being expunged. This donation helps in the effort required to get the club through this period intact. The club is hugely thankful both to the Supporters’ Club and indeed everyone else that has stepped up, donated, offered help and is giving support.
The club can confirm that there will be a fuller statement next week in respect to the club’s financial position and strategy moving forwards into next season and beyond.
