The Blues are back in action at the Wezzie tomorrow night as we welcome Jubilee Sports for our Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior County Cup 2nd Round tie, kick off is at 7:45pm

Frickley come into this one after returning to winning ways at the weekend with a massive 2-0 win against Wombwell Town in the NCEL Premier Division. Goals from Charlie Clegg and Lucas Robinson in the second half marked a strong away performance from the Blues, with a solid defensive performance and a clean sheet also very promising following recent difficulties.

Time for a short break from the league though with a return to cup action in the SHCFA County Cup. The Blues advanced into the second round courtesy of a 1-0 victory over SJR Worksop back in September, the goal coming from a long range free kick from Cody Collins in Martyn Woolford’s first game in the dug out.

Jubilee Sports are another side who play at Step 7 in the non league pyramid. They are currently 13th in the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior League Premier Division table after just 2 wins from their opening 9 matches, losing the remaining 7

They lost 4-0 at the weekend to Stocksbridge Park Steels Reserves but will be hoping a cup upset can kick their season into life. This is their first game in this season’s SHCFA Senior Cup after they received a bye in the last round.
