The fixtures continue to come thick and fast as we head to Albion Sports for our latest NCEL fixture, kick off is at 7:45pm
The Blues once again fell to defeat on the road after 2 first half goals were enough to secure a 2-0 victory for Knaresborough on Saturday. The result sees us drop to 13th in the NCEL table on 38 points with just 7 league games remaining.
Our hosts Albion are still firmly embroiled in the play off battle in 5th place although with games in hand on all the teams around them. They suffered a slip up on Saturday, losing 3-1 away at Hallam, bringing to an end a 5 match unbeaten run.
This run covered the reverse fixture at Westfield Lane just over 2 weeks ago as Albion took the 3 points with a 2-1 victory. Frickley had led in the first half following a Robbie Fox own goal but a brace in the second half from Ashley Flynn secured the points for Albion
So come along and get behind the lads as we push towards the end of the season. If you are travelling, a reminder that Albion play their home matches at Bradford Park Avenue’s ground. Please park at the back of the stadium and not on the yellow lines in front as you’ll likely get a parking ticket.
