It’s time to return to the Wezzie as our first home fixture of the 2024/25 season is upon us. We welcome our old NPL friends Sheffield FC in our latest PSF match, kick off is at the slightly earlier time of 7:30pm
The Blues came back into action on Friday night with preseason starting with a 2-0 defeat against Thorne Colliery. However, it was an experimental Blues line up that yielded a lot of promise in the First Half so I for one can’t wait to see what Bax’s Blues on the pitch once again!!
And it will be a stern test as well as we start a run of 4 consecutive home matches against NPL opposition. Sheffield finished 13th in the NPL Division 1 East League last season and have competed solidly at that level for a number of years so will be a great opponent to test our metal against. Sheffield are also one of Bax’s former sides and they have a number of ex Blues within their ranks so it should be a good occasion
So come along down to the Wezzie for the first time this season and see the new Blues in action. Admission prices have frozen from last season so will remain as per the below:
Adults – £6.00
Concessions – £4.00
Under 16’s – £2.00
Admission is also free if you’ve already purchased your 2024/25 season ticket so incentive to get one bought if you haven’t already. Season tickets will grant free entry to all of our home preseason games so the sooner you buy, the more you’ll save
