We’re back in home action this weekend as we welcome Handsworth to Westfield Lane for our latest NCEL fixture, kick off is at 3:00pm
The Blues come into this game following back to back league defeats for the first time this season, following consecutive 2-0 defeats away at Hallam and Penistone. It’s still been a strong start to the season but the lads will certainly be looking to bounce back and get back to winning ways this weekend
Handsworth are another side that made a very strong start to the campaign. They currently sit 5th in the league table, 3 points ahead of Frickley in 10th, and will themselves be looking to bounce back following 3 straight league defeats, the latest being a shock 2-1 defeat away at Goole
Manager Pat McGuire will return to the dugout tomorrow after serving his 2 match ban following the red card he picked up against Barton in our last home game
So come along to the Wezzie for what promises to be another tough fixture but hopefully an exciting game of football. Tickets are the usual £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for U16’s with an adult so what’s not to like
