The barrage of league games continues as we’re back at the Wezzie to welcome Knaresborough Town in the NCEL, kick off is at 7:45pm
It was a disappointing outing at the weekend as the Blues fell to a second successive defeat, losing 1-0 at Bottesford. It was a very disappointing first half followed by a much better second half but an equaliser proved elusive.
Knaresborough will prove yet another very tough test. After setting the early league pace, they have hit a slightly sticky spell recently, falling to 12th in the league with only 1 league win in their last 10 games so will be very keen to get back on track tomorrow night
It’ll be a second meeting of the season after Knaresborough ran out 3-1 winners in the FA Cup back in August. A 1st half brace from Danny Edwards was followed by a 2nd half effort from Danny Edwards for the home side. Rieves Boocock scored late on for Frickley but it proved only a consolation as the Blues FA Cup campaign came to an end
So come along and get behind the lads for what promises to be another great game of NCEL football. Please note that the usual snack cabin will be closed tomorrow night. However, there will be a mobile snack van in the ground near the main turnstiles for your half time cuppa so we’ll have you covered
