The games are coming thick and fast right now as we’re back in action again tomorrow night as we welcome Winterton Rangers to Westfield Lane in our latest NCEL game, kick off is at 7:45pm
I think we’ve probably all just got our breathes back following Saturday’s dramatic game at North Ferriby, as the Blues put up a Herculean defence to hold off the league leaders, despite having 10 men, to almost snatch the win but even the late equaliser couldn’t detract from the fact that the 1-1 score line was certainly a point gained
However, it certainly doesn’t get much easier as Winterton are currently the closest challengers to North Ferriby in the league, sitting 2nd in the table and themselves on a fine run of form, winning yet again on Saturday 3-0 away at Knaresborough.
It could be 3rd time lucky for the Blues though, as Winterton have got the better of us twice already this season, winning 3-1 at the Wezzie in the league cup earlier in the year before running out 4-0 winners in the league back in January. After last Saturday, anything’s possible
So get yourselves down to the Wezzie for what is sure to be another enthralling game of football, it’s not like there’s anything else you could be doing on a Tuesday night in February right?
