The road to Wembley starts here!! Our 2023/24 FA Cup campaign gets underway as we head to our NCEL counterparts Knaresborough Town in the Extra Preliminary Round, kick off is at 3:00pm
The Blues bounced back from the opening day defeat to Campion in midweek with a resounding 4-2 victory away at Tadcaster Albion. Al Keita, a Lloyd Smith brace and a late sealer from Eliel Anku secured the points, so the lads should be full of confidence going into tomorrow’s game
Our opponents Knaresborough have had a very strong start to the season, having picked up maximum points from their opening two league games, including a 3-2 win away at Silsden on Tuesday night, so a tough test looks to be on the cards
Should the game not be decided tomorrow within 90 minutes, then there will be a replay at the Wezzie on Tuesday 8th August in place of our league fixture with Barton Town. But more on that if it’s required
There are still some spaces available on the supporters coach for the game but it’s filling up fast so if you would like a seat, don’t delay!! Give Ian a ring on 07790 569075 to get your seat booked, seats are £10 for adults or £5 for U16’s travelling with an adult or who are members of the Junior Membership Scheme. The coach leaves North Elmsall at 1:00pm and returns immediately after the game
