League action returns to Westfield Lane as we welcome Golcar United in our latest NCEL Premier League Match, kick off is at 3:00pm
The lads will be keen to refocus on the league following the sucker punch 2-1 defeat in the FA Vase last weekend against Barnton. To concede an equaliser in 2nd half stoppage time is one thing, to then lose the game is another entirely. Time to go again and deliver a response!!
Golcar will certainly provide another tough test for the Azzuri. Whilst only winning 2 of their opening 5 league games, Golcar have faced some of the top teams in the early league standings so are perhaps falsely represented. They were back to winning ways in their last game, winning 2-1 at home to Thackley
Tomorrow’s fixture will have a shade of sentiment for Pat and Blake as it was their first fixture in charge of the Blues back in March, where our visitors ran out 3-2 winners on that occasion. Let’s hope for a reverse of the result this time around
So come along for what promises to be another cracking game of non-league football. All of the usual match day amenities will be available, with admission £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for U16’s so what’s not to like for an afternoon of entertainment
