Frickley return to Westfield Lane for our first and only home fixture of February as we welcome Albion Sports in the NCEL, kick off is at 3:00pm
The Blues will be looking for a strong response following Tuesday’s lacklustre display in the 5-0 defeat away at Golcar. It was a highly disappointing showing all round but we know that these lads have it in them to do so much better and no better time than the present to get things back on track!!
It won’t be easy though, as visitors Albion are currently flying high after a very impressive season. They currently find themselves in 6th, one point outside the playoffs but with games in hand over the teams above them. They were able to dispatch one of their play off rivals in midweek with a 3-1 win over Thackley so will be full of confidence coming into the game.
Strangely, this is our first meeting with Albion this season after the away fixture was postponed for a number of reasons. So can’t really do the part of the preview telling you about our reverse fixture!!
So come along and get yourselves down to the Wezzie for a fiery game of NCEL football. All of the usual amenities will be available so come and get behind the lads as we look to end February on a high
