10 to go for the season and it’s another away trip for Frickley as we head to Eccleshill in the NCEL, kick off is at 3:00pm

It was a much improved showing from the Blues last time out but it still unfortunately ended in a 2-1 defeat against Albion Sports. Frickley had led at half time thanks to a Robbie Fox own goal but a clinical second half brace from Ash Flynn proved the difference and gave the visitors the 3 points.

It leaves the Blues 12th in the NCEL table on 37 points with 9 league games to go.

Our hosts Eccleshill come into the game in 18th place and firmly in the battle to beat the drop at the bottom of the table so will certainly be fighting for their lives. They gave Hallam a good run in midweek only conceding late on to lose 1-0

And it was a late show earlier in the season as Frickley took the victory in the reverse fixture 2-1. Lamin Janneh put Eccleshill in front before Alhassane Keita equalised from the penalty spot. Keita then left it late to nick a winner in stoppage time to give the Blues all 3 points.

So come along and get behind the lads on the road as we look to push on to the end of the season. No supporters bus unfortunately but live commentary through PodBean will be available if you’re unable to make it, join us at 2:55pm for the coverage

Let’s hope for a positive performance and a return to winning ways
