Saturday saw the first small green shoots of recovery after the recent drought
Dronfield took a early lead before the Young Lochinvars gave us some very pleasant football to watch & 2nd half goals from Alberto Di Nascimento Trialistto & Alain Trialliste (2) made it a 3-1 victory to the Azzurri
We almost had the Goal Of The Season (on 2nd July!) when Armando Triallista controlled the ball on the edge of the box, did a bit of keepie-uppie & hit a looping overhead shot with his back to goal that thwacked the crossbar with the keeper wafting his arms about like a holidaymaker in Mablethorpe trying to keep a wasp out of his shandy.
Next up – we are at home to Beverley Town on Tuesday evening, 7.30pm kick off. Why not come & watch us, there’s nowt on the telly now that Sewing Bee has finished (I wanted Brogan to win by the way….)
