A very disappointing performance & result for the Azzurri

The confidence & battle that we showed on Saturday all but dissipated in a poor spectator spectacle

2 new faces on show tonight – MIkey Williams joins us from Ossett United & Jonty Bouch joins us on loan from Mansfield Town (we’d like to thank everyone at Mansfield for their cooperation)

First half was low quality but end to end
Second half was no quality & we couldn’t wait for it to end

We actually attacked at will in the first half but our play in the final third was poor & we got caught offside too often – second half was a non event & Sheffield scored from a passage of play where we had plenty of chances to clear the ball. Rod Orlando Young had a great chance to equalise at the death when he was 1 on 1 with the keeper but his shot went agonisingly wide

The most telling stat is that the home keeper didn’t get his shirt or gloves dirty – & that’s not good enough by us

WEBMASTER MOTM – fairly telling that all nominees are defenders. Arun Jones, Freddie Pitts & Joe West all did well but Nathan Whitehead was the best player on the pitch,
