CHARLIE PRICE SIGNS FOR THE BLUES

Frickley Athletic Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Charlie Price.

The young midfielder arrives at The Wezzie with plenty of experience within professional football academies. He becomes the eighth signing and addition to Martyn Woolfords squad for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.

Blues fans will remember his loan spell last season, where he put some very solid performances in and showed high levels of maturity throughout the games that he played.

He began his youth career at Huddersfield Town, where he enjoyed 5 years playing throughout the age groups. He then moved onto Barnsley Football Club where he was for 8 years. During this time he became a main stay in many of the age groups. Unfortunately, after completing his scholarship this summer, the club didn’t offer him a contract.
