As most of you are aware, Danny broke his leg playing for our U23s on Wednesday
He sent me this update last night:
‘Hi mate operations done, just started to come round from it now I was in theatre for around 3 hours but I feel much better now, can’t believe that £680 has been raised I’m absolutely shocked I can’t wait to be able to tell everyone how grateful I am for their donations and checking up on me it means the world❤️’
As many others have said already, he really is a top top lad
The good news is that, so long as he can get the hang of his crutches, he’s coming home today. He’ll be starting on the shuttle runs & bleep tests tomorrow!!!!!
The £680 that Danny mentions was the total for his fundraiser as of last night – this has since moved on to £820 – you lot are simply magnificent!!
Danny is self employed so will be off work for a good few weeks, & as a result we are trying to raise a few bob for him. If you can afford to contribute to his fundraiser, that would be amazing – you can donate here
