2026/27 NCEL PREMIER DIVISION FIXTURES
The schedule for our NCEL Premier Division Campaign have been confirmed.
The Blues kick off the new campaign at Westfield Lane on Saturday 25th July, welcoming Keighley Town before making the trip to Knaresborough Town just three days later.
August is a busy opening month with five league fixtures. Following the opening matches, The Blues host Horbury Town before travelling to Tadcaster Albion and Penistone Church, returning home to face Retford United before finishing the month away at Barton Town. The home fixture against Horbury provides an early opportunity for supporters to get behind The Blues, while the visit to Penistone is another key date in the calendar.
September continues the busy schedule, beginning with Handsworth at home before Dearne & District visit Westfield Lane on 15th September. The month also includes the trip to Parkgate FC, before The Blues host Thackley AFC and travel to Albion Sports to round off September.
October features two of the season’s local fixtures. The Blues travel to Worsborough Bridge Athletic on 14th October before welcoming Rossington Main to Westfield Lane just three days later. The meetings with Rossington Main are always among the highlights of the season and are sure to attract plenty of interest.
The reverse fixtures begin as the season moves into the winter months. November sees The Blues travel to Keighley Town before hosting Knaresborough Town, making the journey to Horbury Town, and welcoming Tadcaster Albion to Westfield Lane.
December opens with the return fixture against Penistone Church, this time on home soil, before The Blues travel to Retford United and finish the year with a home game against Barton Town and an away trip to Handsworth.
The New Year begins with a visit to Dearne & District on 16th January, while Parkgate FC make the journey to Westfield Lane a week later. February also brings the return fixture against Worsborough Bridge Athletic, this time in front of the home crowd.
As the season enters its final stretch, The Blues travel to Rossington Main in March for the second meeting between the sides before hosting Golcar United in our final home league fixture. The campaign then concludes with an away trip to Pickering Town on 3rd April.
We also have several cup matches to look forward to throughout the season where The Blues will try and have some success. On the 8th August we welcome Campion AFC in the FA Cup Extra-Preliminary Round. On the 12th September we will travel to either Ashton United or FC St Helens in the Izuzu FA Vase Second Qualifying Round. We will also have matches in the NCEL League Cup and the Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup.
With a packed fixture list, familiar opponents and two highly anticipated meetings with Rossington Main, the 2026/27 season promises to provide plenty of memorable moments. We look forward to welcoming supporters to Westfield Lane throughout the campaign as The Blues aim for a successful season.
