Following a change in personal circumstances, Luke Potter has sadly had to withdraw from the position of 1st Team Manager. Chairman Richard Norman commented ‘It’s hugely disappointing that Luke hasn’t been able to take up the position, but we respect his decision and that the commitment it takes is total.’ Luke added ‘I advised the Chairman today that I would not be able to commit fully to next season. We, in common with many outside the upper echelons of English football, want to go on record that we are wholly opposed to the removal of replays past the first round proper. There was no consultation with those who make the FA Cup the greatest club competition in the world. The club are pleased to announce that Luke Potter has accepted the role of First Team Manager on a permanent basis following his spell as interim manager. Luke has worked at clubs throughout the non-league pyramid as Manager and Assistant following his time as a professional player at Barnsley. The board believe that Luke has the qualities we are looking for to continue the positive progress at all levels in the club.
