Our next summer signing is another who made his debut against Ponte on Tuesday. We’re delighted to announce the signing of Will Jenkinson.

Will is an all round defender comfortable either at full back or centre half who joins the club having spent last season with Parkgate. He’ll be etched in the minds of Frickley fans having scored the winner in Parkgate’s 1-0 victory over the Blues at the end of last season.

The Gaffer had the below to say about Will’s signing:

’Will was on my radar after we’d played against him for Parkgate last season. He’s fit, strong and has great technique. What I also like about him is, even at a young age, he demands standards which is what I look for in a player. Great to have him on board and we look forward to working more with him.
