summer signing – Takunda katsere

Our next summer signing sees us welcome Takunda Katsere to the club ahead of the 2025/26 season.

TK is a centre half who came to our trial session at the start of June and impressed the management team with his performance. He has had previous experience of the NCEL with Goole, Selby Town, Athersley Rec and Wombwell Town.

The Gaffer had the below to say about TK’s signing:

’TK came to our trial game and stood out like a sore thumb. He’s a rough diamond and a player we look forward to working with.

He’s quick, strong and reads the game well for a young lad. He wants to learn and become a better player and has fit into the group brilliantly.’
