Summer Signing – Sam Kilner

With our list of retained players now finalised, it’s time to move onto the new signings. And we’re delighted to announce our first summer signing is Sam Kilner.

Sam is a versatile defender, operating mainly as a right back but with experience across the backline if required in any position.

He signs from Silsden AFC where he was an NCEL title winner last season, featuring in the majority of Silsden’s games both as a starter and from the bench. Prior to joining Silsden, he had experience playing in the NWCL with Moseley among others.

The Gaffer had the below to say about Sam’s signing:

’Sam is a player you always want in your team. You know what you’re going to get week in week out. He won this league last season with Silsden, having played 26 games for them. A fantastic addition who has settled in nicely with the rest of the squad’
