On Saturday, we saw 3 new Blues make their debuts. We welcomed Daniel Wombwell, Mason Booth and Niall Butchart and here’s a little bit about each of them.
Daniel is a young left back who joins the club from Rossington Main. He signed for Rossington from the Kings Lynn U23’s and has also had experience with Sherwood Colliery and AFC Mansfield
Mason can play anywhere along the back line and joins on dual registration from Sheffield FC. He started out in Rotherham’s academy before moving to America. Upon returning to the UK, he joined Matlock Town before moving to Sheffield.
Last but not least, we have Niall who joins from Goole. Niall is a versatile player who prefers playing up front but can cover at right back if required. He started in Altrincham’s academy before playing in the North West Counties and then spending some time in Spain last season.
