Players Player of the Season and Club Captain Richard Collier has committed for the upcoming 2023/24 league campaign!!
The versatile and durable playmaker featured 36 times last season, playing a pivotal role in helping the club avoid relegation from the NCEL Premier Division.
Manager Pat McGuire commented “Rich is a player I’ve tried to sign pretty much every year I’ve been a manager. I was delighted to finally get to work with him at Frickley and in the short space of time we had last season he was integral to us remaining in this league. Naturally we wanted to continue to work with him and we’re delighted he’ll be at the Wezzie for another year, and will captain the side once again. Let’s go Skip!!”
Club Captain Richard Collier commented: “Excited for another season at this great club and can’t wait to get going again. No brainer after speaking to Pat and Blake, we all want to kick on now and have a positive season, finishing right up there!!”
