We are delighted (or should I say ‘estamos muito satisfeitos’) to announce the signing of Edson ‘Eddy’ Prata. Eddy joins us on dual reg from Tadcaster Albion.
The Gaffer said “Eddy came training last night and has already made a good impression on everyone. He’s an attacking player with plenty of ability and he gives us more options in an area we need to strengthen. We would like to thank Tadcaster, and in particular Craig Ogi, for helping get this through”
Eddy will go straight into the squad for tomorrows game at Hallam.
Eddy started his footballing journey with the youth teams at Leeds United & then Bradford City. He has also played for both Harrogate teams, as well as Guiseley & most recently Taddy. He also featured in the AF Beja 1st Division in his home country of Portugal 2 seasons ago
