Rieves Boocock commits for the upcoming 2023/24 campaign!!
The former Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield FC and Cleethorpes player makes a celebrated return to Frickley after a brief stint with the club back in the NPL days and is another solid addition to the Blues squad
Assistant manager Blake Campbell commented: “Rieves has been on our radar since featuring for Doncaster Rovers in an FA Cup fixture against Crystal Palace back in 2019
He’s another local lad and a player who has previously featured for the club back in the NPL days so, whilst he’s only 22, he’s got a high level of experience behind him
He’s one of those forwards who’s composure on the ball and in front of goal which will see him bag some important goals for us this season. To compliment, he also has the ability to work efficiently in combinational play in the final third which gives us another dimension to work with
We believe that with a good preseason and good run of fixtures, he will be an absolute handful for our opponents this season. He showed after our first conversation where he committed then and there that he is up for the challenge to help the club, his teammates and the staff progress this season!”
