New Signing – Kieron Ceesay

Ahead of this weekend’s fixture, we’re delighted to announce that winger Kieron Ceesay has signed for the club.

Kieron started his career in the Manchester United academy before making his start in non league at Guiesley. He then went on to have spells in the NPL with Ponte Colls, North Ferriby and Brighouse Town.

Kieron has had plenty of interest throughout the summer from clubs both at this and higher levels so it’s great that he has decided to join the Blues.

The gaffer had the below to say about Kieron’s signing:

’I’m an admirer of Kieron’s abilities having come across him for a number of seasons now. We spoke a lot over the summer but he has the ability and mindset to want to play higher, which I respect.

We’ve kept in contact and knew he was available so both agreed he would come in. He has the ability to win games of football and will add extra firepower to us. Welcome on board Kieron!’

Kieron will be available to potentially make his debut against Penistone Church tomorrow
