Anyone who enjoys the works of Samuel Langhorne Clemens (hip hop name: Mark Twain) will be aware of Tom Sawyer (of the eponymous novel) who gets himself into all sorts of scrapes involving Huckleberry Finn, Joe Harper & Muff Porter.
Well we haven’t signed him…..
But we are delighted to announce that we have signed Tom Sawyer, classy centre mid who has been with Skegness Town.
Tom, 22, was a first year pro with Grimsby Town before moving to Skeggy.
The Gaffer said “Tom is a very very good prospect. He’s tenacious in the tackle and an excellent passer. He will complement Kegan & Frecks in the engine room”
Tom is pictured at the start of the 20/21 season – take note of the Skeggy sponsor name cos we’ll all have vertigo when we start climbing up the league!!
