Our U13’s team is currently coached by Gary Hepton and Chris Smith. Both Gary and Chris have boys that play in the academy and are committed to ensuring that all the players in the team have fun and enjoy their time on the pitch.
Outside of Frickley, Gary is very busy with his own business whilst Chris works for a well known supermarket chain in their distribution warehouse.
Both coaches are football fans through and through with Gary supporting Liverpool and Chris Leeds Utd and can be found most Saturdays supporting Frickley Athletic selling programmes, halftime draw tickets and golden goal tickets.
The committee would like to thank both coaches for their time they spend with the players whilst training midweek and playing on Saturday mornings in the Selby and District league.
The boys can be seen playing up a Frickley Country Park on Saturday mornings (pitch A) and also have an amazing tuck shop run by Melissa. If you’re ever at a loose end on a Saturday morning come up, have a cuppa and a slice of cake and watch a great game of football.
