Manager Pat McGuire commits for the upcoming campaign!
The former Pro-Footballer and Yorkshire International Head Coach is going into his 7th season of NCEL management and will be accompanied by assistant manager and former pro-athlete Blake Campbell. The Australian born Campbell is going into his 6th season in football management and operates in the EFL as a first team scout for League Two outfit Morecambe FC.
McGuire and Campbell are also part of the setup at Bradford Park Avenue AFC where McGuire works full time with the U19’s as the scholarship head coach and Campbell who is the clubs chief scout.
Manager Pat McGuire commented: “When we took the job it was sold to us as a long term project to build on the strong foundations Frickley has off the field, so naturally we are delighted to take the Club forward into the 2023/24 season. We knew we’d have some frustrations and tricky waters to navigate when we arrived at the end of last year, but we’ve come through that and now we have the opportunity to put our own stamp on things and I’m really excited to get back in to pre season with the lads, and the new signings, and can’t wait to be infront of the brilliant supporters at the Wezzie again. As always with new additions, it could take time for the squad to gel but we are hoping we can entertain the fans and put the wheels in motion to push Frickley back to the levels it belongs”
Great to have you with us Pat and Blake, looking forward to 2023/24
