The Blues are back at the Wezzie for some NCEL action under the lights as we welcome Pickering Town for a Remembrance Day fixture, kick off at 7:45pm

Frickley made it 4 games unbeaten in all competitions at the weekend following a 0-0 draw against Horbury Town. It’s a point that the Blues will be disappointed wasn’t more but it was a tough afternoon in difficult conditions so a point and a clean sheet on the road can never be a bad things

The point saw the Blues climb to 12th place in the NCEL Premier Division table on 21 points and continue the trend of looking up the league rather than over our shoulder. Hopefully we can extend that unbeaten run to 5 games tomorrow night

The visitors to Westfield Lane are Pickering Town. The Pikes have enjoyed a strong start to the season, currently sitting 7th in the NCEL table. They returned to winning ways last time out after back-to-back defeats with a 2-0 win at Penistone Church.

Pickering have the better of the recent head to heads between the two sides, with the Pikes doing the double over the Blues last season. A 4-2 victory at Westfield Lane on the opening day was followed by a 3-1 victory in North Yorkshire in November.
