Tomorrow we make the shortish trip to Sheffield FC for a league game, kick off 3pm.
Another away local derby game and The Azzurri will be looking to get back to winning ways by repeating the performance they put in at Stocksbridge a fortnight ago.
Here’s five good reasons why you need to get down to the Coach & Horses ground tomoz:
1) Our away games against one of the world’s oldest teams are never dull.
2) We’ll be pitting our wits against ex-Blues boss Spencer Fearn, now Sheffield’s assistant manager. Interesting.
3) Michael, our head of global communications, is back from his week at a vegan retreat in Tossa with his chakras aligned and his ying and yang balanced.
4) Bomber Wells is back from suspension.
5) And The Boys in Blue are chomping at the bit and raring to go.
Seriously, where else would you rather be? The correct answer is ‘nowhere’.
There is a map in the Match Centre for the intrepid independent traveller – postcode is S18 2GD. No supporters coach for this game. Admission is £11 for adults and £7 for concessions or 17 to 5 year olds. Under 5s are free.
Our very own lyrical gangsters, Mickey Blue Eyes and Al K-pone, will be providing live commentary via the Podbean app – we will post a link on Twitter when we are about to start our poetic, slightly slanderous, sporting ullulations.
Twitter updates throughout.
Hope to see you all there, let’s make some noise for The Blue Machine…
