After evaluating the situation surrounding Covid & the forthcoming fixtures, the board & management have agreed to postpone the Boxing Day & New Years Day games with a view to recommencing fixtures on 9th January, subject to government restrictions being eased.
Currently, due to a limit on admissions & no secondary income, it is felt that opening our gates over the festive period is not financially viable.
The club also feels that the wellbeing of players, volunteers & supporters also has to be taken into consideration.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our supporters a safe & happy Christmas, as ‘unique’ as this one will be, thank you all for your continued support and we hope that this statement gives a little certainty during these uncertain times.
