The football club would like to say thank you, once again, to everyone who has helped, & is still helping, our drive to raise funds now that we have no matchday revenue coming in.
The Supporters Club have donated a very large amount of money & supporters continue to make direct donations to the club & we’ve also raised over £1000 via our Just Giving page, & we’d like to thank every brilliant one of you!
We’d like to say a special thanks to Mick Holmes (aka Boomer aka Hulk Hogan aka The Undertaker & all his other wrestling aliases….) who has, actually & literally, gone the extra mile for us with his fundraising efforts. He has raised a significant amount of money, some of which was from bucket collections at games (thank you to everyone who chucked a few bob in his little pink bucket) & some is money he’s personally put in based on what he would have spent at games, attendance money, programme & 50/50 plus pint & a burger. He also recently did a 5k walk dressed as Hulk Hogan which raised more than £200 via our Just Giving page.
Finally, a massive shout out to Erin, Boomers daughter, who always contributes to the bucket collection. Most recently she’s donated a packet of Refreshers & a unicorn chocolate coin!!
