The Blues return to home action as we welcome Pickering Town to Westfield Lane for a rearranged NCEL fixture, kick off is at 7:45pm
Frickley come into this one still in 12th place in the league table after a heavily weather impacted weekend saw the majority of games postponed. These weather issues have set up a very busy March for almost all the NCEL sides, with almost ever midweek being used from now until the end of the season. So there’s a lot of football to be played this month!!
Our visitors Pickering also saw their weekend fixture postponed. Currently sitting 16th in the table after a mixed season, they will be looking for a positive result tomorrow. They come into this one on the back of 7 points in their last 4 games so are hitting a decent run of form at the moment.
It was Frickley who came out on top in the reverse fixture way back in August with a 2-0 victory. Goals either side of half time from Alhassane Keita and Richard Collier, combined with an impressive performance from Callum Bradbury in goal, were enough to claim the 3 points.
So come along and wrap up for what promises to be a chilly evening but one to back the lads all the way in. All the usual amenities will be available so what better way to spend a Tuesday evening than a spot of vintage NCEL action.
Hope to see lots of you there
