We’re on our travels for the first time in the 2023/24 season as we travel to Tadcaster Albion in our latest NCEL fixture, kick off is at 7:45pm
The Blues had a difficult start to the new campaign on Saturday, falling to a 3-0 defeat at home to Campion. However, despite the scoreline, Frickley were well in the game for most of the match and could have got a result on another day. Time to dust ourselves down and go again!!
Our opponents Tadcaster were relegated from the NPL last season and have had a complete rebuild over the course of the summer, so will present a difficult challenge to the Azzuri. It’s a ground that hasn’t been too fruitful for us in the past but no time like the present to put that right
Tadcaster also suffered a defeat on the opening day of the season, falling to a 2-0 reverse away at Thackley so will be looking for a positive result in front of their home fans tomorrow night
