It’s the 2nd of 4 consecutive home matches for Frickley as we welcome Penistone Church to Westfield Lane for a rearranged NCEL fixture, kick off is at 7:45pm

The Blues come into this one following Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Rossington Main in our 40th anniversary of the Miner’s Strike special. Whilst the result wasn’t what we wanted, it was still a great occasion that we thank you all for being a part of.

Frickley remain 13th in the NCEL table on 38 points with just 5 league games to go until the season comes to a close

Our visitors Penistone still have an outside chance of forcing their way into the playoff places. They come into the game in 9th place, 7 points outside the playoffs so will be looking for a big 3 points tomorrow to draw them closer. They were victorious at the weekend with a 2-1 victory over Pickering.

And it was Penistone who came out on top in the reverse fixture back in October. Goals either side of half time from Edward Newsome and Leon Hurles-Brook were enough for the home side to record a 2-0 victory.

So come along and get behind the lads as we look for a strong end to the season. After the great support on Saturday, would be fantastic to see that carry on tomorrow night.

Hope to see you all there
