It’s preseason friendly time once again and we’re on our travels once more, as we make the relatively short journey to play Nostell Miners Welfare, kick off is at 8:00pm
The Blues remain unbeaten during preseason so far and picked up their first win of the campaign on Saturday away at Steeton, with goals from Eliel Maville-Anku, Rieves Boocock and Al Keita giving us a 3-0 win. Despite the scoreline, it was another stern test as our hosts played some tidy football. But a resolute defence and some clinical finishing saw the game through
Now, as we all know, preseason results mean nothing but all 3 games so far have been stern tests and the lads have produced solid performances in each and look to be gelling well. So plenty for Pat and Blake to be happy about and to further think about before the season starts!!
Our hosts Nostell continue the trend of teams from the division below so will present another good opportunity to get some minutes in the legs and to hopefully continue building some momentum!!
Please note that tomorrow’s game is being played at the West Riding County FA Headquarters near Woodlesford, post code LS26 8NX, rather than at Nostell. So if you’re travelling to the game tomorrow, please don’t go to Nostell and go to the WRFCA instead
