The Azzuri are back on the road again this weekend, as we travel to Penistone Church for our latest NCEL game, kick off at 3:00pm
It was a harsh wake up call last Monday as Winterton punished some poor defending and lacklustre finishing to run away 4-0 winners. But there were some positive signs in the build up play that we can take away and into this weekends game
Penistone are another team in good form, however, picking up a 3-0 win against Yorkshire Amateur last Monday which sees them sitting 7th in the league table
The game does present an opportunity for another league double this season, as Frickley ran out 4-2 winners in the reverse fixture back in September, a brace from Keelan Grist and goals from Alex Varley and Lee Bennett doing the damage on a pulsating evening. So hopefully more of the same tomorrow!!
There are still spaces left on the Supporters Bus which leaves North Elmsall at 1:00pm and returns immediately after the game.
