It’s been well over a month but we’re finally back at the Wezzie for our latest NCEL match, as we welcome Barton Town, kick off is at 3:00pm
January was a disappointing month for the blues, with 3 straight defeats ending in the 3-1 reverse at Knaresborough last week, a game which promised much in the first half before fading away in the second. But February is a new month and presents a new opportunity to get back on track
Barton will present a tough test, with a side full of familiar ex-blue faces that will want a big result on their old stomping ground. Barton currently sit 8th in the league table after a 3-1 victory over Hemsworth last week
Frickley came out on top though in our previous meeting back in September, with a double from Al Keita giving us a 2-1 win and some big scenes when the 88th minute winner went in. Certainly a highlight of the season so far!!
Usual amenities will be available prior to kick off and during the game, so grab a mate, wrap up warm and come and cheer the boys on to hopefully a first win of 2023
