We open our first ever season in the NCEL with an away game at Maltby Main, 3pm kick off
There is a map in the Match Centre for the intrepid independent traveller – postcode is S66 7JQ. No supporters coach for this one but we will be providing live commentary via the Podbean app (search Frickley Athletic Live) from around 2.55pm. Twitter updates throughout.
We need to remember that this is a brand new team, a young team – but they have already showed us that they intend to play football so let’s get behind the boys & give them our support
Saturday will see everyone making their competitive debuts for the club – & also getting it’s first ‘run out’ is our fantastic new away kit (modelled by The Colonel, Richard Collier). This season our away kit has been generously sponsored by Fogal & Barnes Jewellers of Harrogate & we thank them for their wonderful support. So irrespective of results, we’re going to look the business on the pitch. BTW for connoisseurs of such things, the colour of the away kit is officially classed as Mint (grey shorts & socks)
So it’s the start of the Benn / Hayward revolucion, let’s get to Maltby in numbers & get behind the lads
