Frickley round out a busy January with one final home game in the NCEL, as we welcome Hallam to Westfield Lane, kick off is at 3:00pm

The Blues come into this one following our disappointing exit from the SHCFA Senior Cup on Tuesday night, losing 2-0 to Stocksbridge Park Steels. However, we still find ourselves 9th in the league table, 4 points off the playoffs, and in the quarter finals of the League Cup, so still plenty to play for going into February!!

Our visitors Hallam come into this game in 13th place but only 6 points behind Frickley highlighting just how tight it is around the top half of the table. They have also had a fantastic run in the FA Vase as they prepare for a 5th round tie in 2 weeks time following a 3-1 over Silsden last time out. They also played midweek in a friendly away at Shirebrook Town, drawing 2-2

The reverse fixture back in October saw Hallam come away 2-0 winners on the night. A Brandon Murillo own goal and a Danny Buttle penalty in the first half were enough as Frickley controlled much of the play in the second half but failed to create many chances and breakthrough the Hallam defence.

So come along and get behind the lads as we look to keep our recent league home form going in what promises to be a tough and fiery game. Usual amenities will be available so bring a friend, wrap up warm and come and see some proper football.

Let’s go boys!!
