And just like that, preseason comes to a close. We conclude the campaign with a return to Westfield Lane, as we host Basford United in a final tough test ahead of the season, kick off at the earlier time of 1:00pm
The Blues were presented with a bit of a reality check on Tuesday night, as Ponte Colls comfortably won the ‘El Classicoal’ 5-0. However, such a scoreline presents us with plenty of opportunities to learn from and build upon ahead of the new season
It’ll be another firm test tomorrow as Basford will be our highest rated opponents of preseason within the football pyramid, playing their football in the Northern Premier League
So come along and watch our final preseason game before the new league campaign kicks off in a weeks time. Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions so bring a friend and come and see some quality non-league football
