The Azzuri got back to winning ways on Wednesday night with a professional 2-0 victory away at Maltby Main. A close game of few chances was blown open by a barnstorming 10 minutes at the start of the second half as Richard Collier and Keanan Mannings got the all important goals and took the game from the hosts
It makes it 5 wins from 7 in the league as we rose to 4th in the early league table. Obviously, it’s still very early in the season but I think we would have all taken that start if we were offered it in July!!
Our visitors Eccleshill currently sit 13th in the league table with 9 points from their opening 9 games. They did pick up a win in midweek however, with a 3-2 victory away at Rossington Main so will be looking to build some momentum tomorrow
So come along to the Wezzie and watch what promises to be another cracking game of non league football. All of the usual amenities will be available so bring a friend and enjoy the afternoon.
Our title winning women’s team will also be taking to the pitch tomorrow for a walk around prior to tomorrow’s fixture so make sure to show them your support and congratulations for a job well done!!
