After back to back home games, we are on our travels once again, this time visiting the home of our old friends North Ferriby for our latest NCEL match, kick off is at 3:00pm
The Azzuri have stopped the rot a bit with back-to-back points in our last two matches, including Ben Hall’s 90th minute equaliser on Tuesday to snatch a point from Bottesford in a 1-1 draw. Remains to be seen just how important that point could be in the run in
Our opponents Ferriby need little introduction, with both sides being involved in a number of battles over the years. As with a number of those previous battles, Ferriby once again find themselves high flying at the top of the table with an 11 point lead, having won again last Saturday with a 4-2 victory over Hemsworth
There was very little to separate the side in the earlier meeting at the Wezzie back in September, with Ferriby eventually punishing a number of missed Frickley chances to snatch the game late on 1-0 and break the hearts of the home side. Has to still be one of our best performances of the season and a repeat will be needed if we’re going to take anything tomorrow
