Just to set straight a few misunderstandings after the announcement of the Frickley Athetic Ladies 1st XI.

The Frickley Athletic Ladies Originals are still very much a key part of the Frickley family — and will be continuing their journey in Open Age 4 this season!

Under the new name of Frickley Athletic Ladies 2nd XI, the Originals will continue to play competitive football and support the exciting growth of the women’s game at the club.

This rebrand comes as we welcome a new squad stepping into the role of Frickley Athletic Ladies 1st XI, with big ambitions and a real push for a regional spot this season. It’s only natural that as the 1st XI aim high, our Originals evolve into a strong 2nd XI — continuing to represent Frickley with pride, experience, and passion.
