Before yesterdays game, the Award Winning Media Team took in an additional fixture & we called in at The Drome to briefly watch Loughborough United vs Anstey Town. The car park was quite muddy & as we tried to leave we realised that we were stuck. After a bit of pushing back & forth, Ken (dressed all in black) admitted that we were out of our depth. Little did we know that a similar scenario was about to play out from 3pm…….

There were 3 big decisions to make yesterday & sadly the officials got all 3 wrong – the upshot being that it cost us points, it cost the players money & in Tylers case it will cost him a suspension.

However, let’s get things into context; we lost a football match. A young man, a footballer in & around our level, lost his life last night – so we’ll leave it there.

WEBMASTER MOTM – for all that it matters, the team fought a tremendous rearguard action yesterday playing with 10 men for 85 minutes but the stand out player for me was Liam King.

TWITTER POLL MOTM – agrees with me, Kingy polled well, followed by debutants Cenk & Brad Mc with Nathan Hotte also polling. Thank you for voting again – I will be collating Player of the Month this week.
