I couldn’t find an appropriate picture to accompany this match report – so I reverted to the old standby, a picture of our Ruthi feeding her face…..

A very chastening day at the office for all concerned (including new manager Dave Frecklington who will have had a glimpse into the challenges ahead).

The first half was the Karl Demidh Show which left the game at 4-0 at half time & in the second half the supporting cast contributed to a final scoreline of 6 zip. Losing Todd Jordan to a 2nd yellow didn’t do anything to improve things either

The Azzurri huffed & puffed & there was no lack of effort but the application of the effort is what let them down ultimately. Interestingly, in my opinion, when we did get the ball on the deck & play football it was actually a better product than we saw on Saturday.

WEBMASTER MOTM – Liam Carrick did well before picking up an injury & his replacement, Brad Mears, put a shift in too. Boocock was lively in midfield & he looked the most likely to score at times. Haze & Jack Mc battled up top. But I’m giving the Glitterball to Cody Prior again – broke things up in midfield & will run through a brick wall for you.
